Announcing the release of Version 2.0.25 of Building Safe!
After months of planning, development, and testing Version 2.0.25 has been released!
This update will include the biggest change in update history of Building Safe since day one launch. We have added a specialized mapping feature that allows users to select their current location during an emergency using building blueprints/floorplans. First Responders and admins use the map view to see where the emergency is located within a building using color codes. For example, if a teacher clicks "Safe" and selects that they are located in Room 220, that room on the map will turn Green. If the teacher selects "UnSafe" the room will turn Red.
Along with the addition of the mapping feature, we are adding backend changes to improve notification reliability and minor UI changes that we feel will make Building Safe run much faster and smoother.
Our team keeps everything related to our software secure and with that, we do not publicly show exactly how the software works. This is as a precaution to keep our users secure and safe from outside cyber threats.
Information on this update and how to use the new version will be sent out via mass secure email to all current users prior to the release. We ask that all users watch the special update video in the email. Administrators are encouraged to send a JPEG file version of each building in their organization to Support@BuildingSafeApp.com so that we can get them uploaded for your buildings to use. Organizations that decide not to use the Mapping Feature will not see the new "View Map" button.
